Nano Emulsification
Nano-emulsion is an isotropic clear or translucent emulsion dispersed system comprised of two immiscible liquids, that is, a dispersion of oil and water containing individual small droplets (typically below ～200 nm). Nanoemulsion could be applied for injectable (e.g., IV, SC) attributed to its nature of enhancing the penetration of drugs through cells via intravenously (IV), intramuscularly (IM) or subcutaneously (SC).
Additionally, nanoemulsions have better spreading properties on the skin, which has been successfully applied for topical drug delivery. Sunny has injectable products for hematological medication, where one is under FDA review and the other one is to be filed shortly.
