Sunny Pharmtech has signed a sales contract for Nitrofurantoin oral capsules in the UK market with internationally renowned pharmaceutical company C. Sunny Pharmtech will be responsible for production, while Company C will handle promotion and sales in the UK market.

It is expected to file submission in Q1 2025 and obtain UK approval in Q3 2026. Nitrofurantoin, an antibiotic used to treat urinary tract infections, has an estimated market value of $35-40 million annually in the UK, according to the IQVIA database."
